Maybe I should have mentioned this—and I'm not at all an expert—but I was sort of aware that, unlike in social media, there do seem to be a lot of smaller outfits working in AI, and a lot of opportunities for individuals to do stuff with it, but they don't have the resources to create these huge systems, which are very expensive to operate. It was that problem that coaxed OpenAI out of being a kind of laboratory and into being a big corporate enterprise.
